The Friends of the Thomson Reuters Foundation is an exclusive international network of extraordinary individuals and organisations sharing our vision, values and commitment to action. Our friends come from a wide range of sectors, they are all passionate about the things that matter to us, from women’s rights, to the promotion of independent journalism worldwide to the fight against slavery and human trafficking.
By becoming a Friend of the Foundation, you’ll have access to our events including Trust Women Conference, Trust Forum Asia and TrustLaw Awards. You will also gain access to an exclusive network of top law firms, multinational corporations, and leading philanthropic organisations.
If you are interested in becoming a Friend of the Foundation, contact Aditi Thorat.
The Thomson Reuters Foundation is an independent charity receiving its core funding from Thomson Reuters. We also rely on donations from generous companies, trusts and individuals to support our work. With your support, you will:
• Help us spread the practice of pro bono worldwide through our programme TrustLaw
• Support our editorial team in covering the world’s under reported stories
• Promote the highest journalism standards through our media development and training programme
• Support us in taking action to put the rule of law behind women’s rights and fight against slavery and trafficking
Through workplace giving, your gift to the Foundation could be matched by your employer. If you are a Thomson Reuters employee, Thomson Reuters will match your donation up to $1,000. To make your donation, visit the My Community site. For more information, contact Aditi Thorat.
Not a Thomson Reuters employee? Many companies encourage their employees to donate to their favorite charities by matching their contributions. Speak to your HR team to see if your company has a matched giving scheme. If you need any information from us, just get in touch.
If you are a UK taxpayer through Gift Aid, your donation can be increased by 25%. JustGiving will claim the extra 25% for you, so there are no forms to fill out.
If you are tax-resident in the US, consider giving to Thomson Reuters Foundation Inc., a registered non-profit in the US which supports similar programs to the work of the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Click here for more information.
